Kurtis and Heather

On September 10th I was privileged to join in celebrating as my sweet nephew Kurtis and his gorgeous bride Heather were married.  Such a beautiful and emotional day for so many of us.  I am so very happy for both of them and excited for their future.

Centerville Wildfire

It isn't often we experience the power of nature right in our own back yards.  Last Thursday we were all alarmed to learn of a wildfire up in the hills of Centerville, practically up the street from our house.  Luckily no one was harmed during the blaze and only a handful of families chose to vacate their homes until the fire was contained. 

 

A reminder of the awesome power of the forces of nature.
